Michael Moore

This is my 1 1/2 inch tall sculpture for an exhibit called Forum of 40 Champions. There are forty artists participating and it’s going to be a great show! Opening reception is this Friday, February 26, between 5pm-9pm, at the Creative Alliance in Baltimore. Here is the event listing on Facebook.

I named my character “Peaceful Being”. His special power is “Can quiet mind at will”. Hope to see you at the opening!

Baking the Sculpey (talk about “being in the hot-seat!”):

Baltimore is currently digging itself out of a record-breaking snowfall. We have had two blizzards move through the area since last Thursday. I had some fun carving a snow chair and accompanying television in the snow outside of my apartment building:

The sit across from each other, so you could theoretically sit and watch (chair on right, television on left):

I drew this out with pencil on paper and then took a digital photo. Then I added color to it digitally with Adobe Illustrator. I am using a digital drawing tablet to work in more lines. It is in-progress.
